About Scoot Boots NY
In 2017, Jeannette Dietrich, became the first New York State Stockist (dealer) of Scoot Boots. After riding and driving shod horses for many years, Jeannette decided in 2002 to transition her horses to 'going' barefoot. Many miles were riden and driven over various types of terrain and footing with her horses wearing hoof boots from different makers. Always in search of a better boot, when Scoot Boots first hit the Endurance Riding Community on the West Coast, Jeannette realized this new boot style from Australia named Scoot Boots just might be what she had been seeking. While waiting for Scoot Boots to prove themselves favorably on the West Coast, Jeannette ordered a few pairs of Scoot Boots and had her horses put them to the test over the rocks and through the clay mud of Brookfield, NY. Because of the impressive outcome that her horses experienced wearing their Scoot Boots, Jeannette knew that she had to bring these boots to others in the equine community in New York. Since clearance in 2017 by the Scoot Boot Company in Australia to become a US Stockist, Jeannette has fitted numerous horses that are happily riding and driving both for pleasure and competition in multi disciplines.
